Judging Procedures
- Applicant must submit the completed application form together with the testimonials, the signed consent letters of referees and a personal statement of not more than 500 words (in either Chinese or English) on his/her achievements (please refer to the application form for details) to the Award Secretariat Office before the application deadline.
- There will be a Preliminary Selection Panel and a Final Selection Panel, both formed by different professionals, as the judges of the Award to score the qualified applications.
- Finalists will be invited to attend an interview conducted by the Final Selection Panel.
Judging Criteria
- The Preliminary Selection Panel and Final Selection Panel will score the applications based on the performance of the participants according to the following criteria:
- Level of responsibility – conversancy with the Estate Agents Ordinance and other regulations
- Level of integrity – honesty to clients and avoidance of any conflict of interest
- Service excellence – provision of good services to clients and taking care of the clients’ needs
- Positiveness – proactiveness in the trade’s development and self-enhancement
- The EAA will check whether the participants have any disciplinary record for consideration by the panels of judges.
- The EAA will check whether the finalists have any criminal conviction records for the Final Selection Panel’s consideration.
- All materials and information provided by the applicant in the application form and in support of his/her application will also be considered by the panels of judges in the process of selection.
