Terms and Conditions
  1. Entries Eligibility:
    • For entries of the Outstanding Estate Agent Award:
      Applicants of Outstanding Estate Agent Award must be holders of estate agent's licence (individual) or salesperson’s licence who have been licensed for two years or above as at 31 December 2016.
    • For entries of the Outstanding Newcomer Award
      Applicants of Outstanding Newcomer Award must be holders of estate agent's licence (individual) or salesperson’s licence who have been licensed for less than two years as at 31 December 2016.

  2. One printed copy of the whole application form including all parts thereof (five parts plus Appendix A) with signatures as required, testimonials and any other supplementary documents (e.g. photocopy of estate agency agreement, provisional agreement for sales and purchase or commission receipts) should be submitted to the Award Secretariat Office:
    • In person: on or before 13 April 2017 (Thursday) no later than 4:00pm, or
    • By post: delivered to the Award Secretariat Office on or before 13 April 2017 (Thursday) no later than 4:00pm

    (Note: Simply CLIP (but DO NOT STAPLE) the documents together and put them in an envelope marked “Application of Outstanding Estate Agent Award” or “Application of Outstanding Newcomer Award”.)


  3. All submitted materials will not be returned to the applicants. Do not submit the original copies of supplementary documents (e.g. estate agency agreement, provisional agreement for sales and purchase or commission receipts).

  4. The panel of judges shall have the absolute right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the requirements or prescribed format of the organiser. The entries will be adjudicated by the panel of judges at its sole discretion, based on all information submitted by the applicant. The panel of judges will shortlist the finalists for the Outstanding Estate Agent Award and the Outstanding Newcomer Award. Each finalist will be invited to an individual interview session. The EAA will check whether the finalists have any criminal conviction records for the Final Selection Panel’s consideration.

  5. The results adjudicated by the panel of judges are final and no objection from any applicants will be entertained. The panel of judges reserves the right not to shortlist/ award any entry if the standard of submissions is considered unsatisfactory.

  6. By submitting an entry, each applicant agrees to grant an irrevocable right to the organiser to publish all entries wholly or in part in the media for publicity purposes, or as case studies in the EAA's newsletter or any other publications or promotions of the EAA, without the prior consent of, or payment of any fees to, the applicant or any other party.

  7. Applicants may mark various sensitive parts of their submission as “Confidential” and such information will not be published, provided that these requests are not to be regarded by the organiser as excessive.

  8. Entries may be withdrawn on or before Friday, 13 April 2017 upon written request.
